Part 1 Part 2
In part 1 of this work motivation article we covered two important mind shifts you must make if you want more energy and drive around your work. I also shared the first resource, out of the seven more work energy tools, the: Perfect Work Mantra - a glorious statement about what 'feeling good' in your work feels like and looks like.
Now, here are ten more resources for you:
Many people are not finding or feeling the kind of work motivation and inspiration described in the Perfect Work Mantra. Why? Not because it's not possible, but because they've never started or have stopped looking, listening, clarifying and reflecting upon their own intrinsic motivations, goals, interests and preferences.
Use this My Perfect, Acceptable and Unacceptable Work Lists-Worksheet (PDF Worksheet. Opens a new window) as a guide for developing a clear picture about what's perfect, acceptable and not acceptable for you in your career.
This is an important step in the process of finding perfect-feeling work. As you clarify what's important to you by writing down all the little parts and pieces, a clearer vision of the next steps you will take, will emerge.
I developed my own Perfect Work worksheet years ago. I carried it around with me for a long time. Every time I saw something I wanted or did not want in my work, I added it to my worksheet. Before long all the little pieces melded together into my career as a consultant. It seems obvious to me today, but when I was searching, what to do next seemed hazy and far away.
The Universe is answering all the questions and prayers you're asking for - but you must be paying attention to see & follow the answers. This worksheet helps you stay focused.
