It’s a difficult choice to decide to break away from what feels ‘safe’ when you’re considering an educational or career change.
I know, but you have to remember that you only have one life to live and you should try to live it as closely to your own terms as possible.
It may not be easy. You may not get the kind of emotional support you’re used to, from friends and family, but it’ll ultimately be worth it when it comes to personal satisfaction.
Doing something you’re truly interested in doing, rather than something to pass the time or get a paycheck, will give you a more lasting feeling of contentedness that you can never achieve if you do what other people want or expect you to do.
Be brave. Don’t be afraid of failure. Everyone fails, sometimes often.
But your eventual successes will be impressive and worthy of a deep sense of personal pride.
