While we specialize in helping travelers stay active and motivated when away from home, there is one strategy that applies to anyone who exercises: do it first thing in the morning.
Exercising first thing starts the day off "right" and has the added benefit of keeping you on track the rest of the day in terms of eating well and even planning the next workout.
Staying motivated and inspired is much easier when the plan works and our experience confirms that getting the workout in first thing is the best way to ensure that it actually happens, especially for those who have busy schedules and work commitments.
I know plenty of individuals who get up before dawn to make it happen...before the breakfast meeting, before the kids get up, before travel plans etc.
